Falxaliaases File

Hello All,

I have an alias in /usr/local/etc/mgetty+sendfax/faxaliases like

office	123-1234

When I try to send a fax with the command

sendfax -v office memo.g3

the phone goes off hook and all I get is a dial tone without
any dial. If I do

sendfax -v 123-1234 memo.g3

everything works fine.

My question is this, how come the entry in the faxaliases file
does not work with sendfax?
