New subscriber

Hello all, I just subscribed to this list yesterday. I have bad luck
with mailing lists. I'm subscribed under a mail alias, which (for
obvious reasons) won't be the origin of my messages, so I'm putting in
a From header with the alias name in hopes that that will get to
the mailing list.

I sent a message yesterday detailing some problems I'm having with vm,
but I don't know if it made it to the list or not. I know some
lists don't send a copy of the message to the person who sent it,
so could someone help me out and send me a private email telling me
if *this* message came up on the list? Thanks.
