S.u.S.E and mgetty

hi,

I'm trying to get mgetty and vgetty working on my SuSE 5.2 system. The
packages were installed using YaST so i didn't have to play around with any
settings. All the config files seem to be in the right place and yet I can't
seem to get the program to work. Basically I'm trying to set up an
answerphone using vgetty but the docu seems confusing.

Another problem is that I cannot find the debug files anywhere on my system.

Anyone got any ideas?
