Hi,
Somewhat unrelated with mgetty, but related with serial i/o is a question i
have, as far as SCO OpenServer is concerned, is that is there any serial driver
support for detecting if the "carrier" has been "dropped" or not.

Like Gert said, if dropping the DTR messes up a serial port on SCO, what else
is there to forcefully terminate a data connection when the +++ATH fails to
get the attention of the modem ?

I have not got any satisfactory answers from sco re this, so if there is someone
out there who's handled this before, i would be grateful to know about it.

Thanks, Prasad Khandkar.
