What is the format of the input file(s) and what platform are they on?
As this is the mgetty list, I assume you have a bunch of single page
files on a unix machine.  Get libtiff from
  ftp://ftp.sgi.com/graphics/tiff/
and compile fax2tiff.  Use it to pack the pages into a .tif file.
