Failed receive with 1.1.18

Using mgetty-1.1.18 on SCO OpenServer V with a USR Courier:

I'm having trouble getting mgetty to receive more than one page of a fax
from my fax machine.  I know my fax machine *can* send mutiple page faxes
successully, as I've done it many times.

I've tried compiling mgetty with #define FAX_USRobotics defined.  I've also
tried adding modem-quirks 0x20 to mgetty.config.  Still, no muliple pages.
One page works fine, and sending multiple pages (with sendfax) works fine.

I'm sure this modem works with mgetty, as I had it working in a previous
life with a linux+mgetty setup.  Any suggestions appreciated. Thx.
