Don't claim "it wasn't the lock file" without sending a LOG FILE to prove
it.
Actually, don't send *any* mails to the mgetty list concerning *any* kind
of problems unless you include *enough* information to diagnose it. Up to
now, you have caused quite some amount of lost time, but still not send a
log.
