PPP server doesnt't support 56K speed (by RH6.0)

Hi! This question make me sick for awhile...
My system is RedHat 6.0, with 56K modem.
I had made it well to received PPP dial-in by mgetty&autoppp,
but i don't know why i can't connect to my ppp server by highspeed,
each time i dial in my server, i can only get about 26400 or 24400 bps

I had used "setserial /dev/ttyS1 spd_vhi"
   and add "115200" at /etc/ppp/options.ttyS1

Check my /var/log/messages, i found such messages :
Oct 12 13:21:25 goat modprobe: can't locate module ppp-compress-21
Oct 12 13:21:25 goat modprobe: can't locate module ppp-compress-26
Oct 12 13:21:25 goat modprobe: can't locate module ppp-compress-24

Is it the reason that make connection under so slow? How can i solve it?

By the way, anyone can tell me how to check who is ONLINE PPP user?
