Difficulty compiling on Slackware 7.0

I searched the list archives, the main site, and altavista. No luck. ;)
My problem: Compiling mgetty. I've never done it before...so I probably
did something wrong. It fails.
I edited policy.h as best as I could; I uncommented things that I
thought
applied to me. I can post it, if needed.
Here is the output of 'make':
