At least with the ZyXEL Omni56k+, it seems that vgetty detects, but
there are a few new/changed commands (which SEEM to be more IS-101
compatible).

I suggest you try the latest release + global patch and that you
try to replace any failed command by a call to IS_101.c.

Alternatively, if you wait two weeks, I will be back from my mountains
and thus I should be able to help more.
