Please help with vgetty

I use a US Robotics Sportser Flash v.90 (flashed) with voice extensions.

I have installed and configured vgetty and it recieves faxes well, but
not voice calls.
It often happens that the program stops recording the message while the
caller is speaking.
I can't even imagine why the modem (or vgetty ???) detects a DIAL TONE
as stated in the attached
log file.

Please help me, should I disable voice answering ???  :-(
