[Off Topic] Re: Dial in & out ???

I have followed this thread and read  the FAQ and know what has to be
done but I cannot get the program XISP to dial out when mgetty is
running. I have tried to use either all /dev/ttyS1 or all /dev/modem
in all editable files but I am still getting both lck.ttyS1 and
lck.modem appearing in /var/lock. Do you have any idea what I am doing
wrong?
