Now this looks pretty good - but maybe a higher debug level is needed to
see the problem.  This logfile certainly doesn't show what's going on in
detail, especially there are no traces of "kill mgetty" here.

Please do also see my other mail: mgetty 1.0.0 will NOT work reliably on
glibc 2 systems.
