What values for rec_compression and rec_speed?

Right now, the .rmd files carry the information "1496" or "2864", and
vgetty isn't smart enough to decide which 1496-RMDs can be played on the
2864 and vice versa.  This is something that needs to improved in
vgetty/vm, otherwise this won't work...
