Hi,
I'm using mgetty with AutoPPP and pap aut successfully at the
moment with the following line in login.config:
/AutoPPP/ - a_ppp /usr/sbin/pppd auth -chap +pap modem crtscts lock proxyarp -detach
I want to log the username in wtmp/utmp thats using authppp pap auth, is
it possible to do this? So that when i type who, fingers, w, etc i get
the username that is dialed in. It works fine if the client uses a login
script as they use /etc/passwd directly and there shell is /usr/sbin/pppd,
but they must be a way to do it with the autoppp!
Thanks,
Chris Bond.
