AutoPPP and usernames

Yes -- but you'll have to add code to do that to pppd (unless it's already
there and I just don't know about it).

There's nothing mgetty can do here: when the PAP authentication is done,
mgetty has long finished its job, and has no idea who the user is. PPPD
is the only one who knows...
