Well... I don't know these two tools (do you mean "pbmtext" and "pbm2g3"?),
but I'd like to look at a file that was generated by them. Could you send
me something that has 20 lines of text?

Please check wether your modem is set up to use Xon/Xoff flow control -- or
set "#define FAXSEND_FLOW FLOW_BOTH" in policy.h. If it fails after a
certain number of lines, this *might* hint at a modem buffer overrun.

I've never seen a +FHNG:40 before, but I could imagine that your modem
sends this if its buffers overflow.


I'd recommend playing around with different flow control settings in the
modem and in policy.h.
