it's not the way _ZYXEL_ intended it but it is true that this modification
is used to support the 27C010. It was an old trick to upgrade the thing.
it adds afew lines to support the address line(s) required to support the
bigger chips.

It's known that it's sometimes a bit critical for the type of eproms used. I
have tms 27c010-10 -- note that I am not sure if 150 nS also fits. It also
could be the cause of your problems.

I recall that the + version requires somewhat faster eproms compared to the
normal version. the latest version is available at ftp.zyxel.co.at and is
6.18 or 6.19 or so.
