modem dialout

Hi,

do you have a problem with dial-*out* or with dial-*in*? Mgetty's
configuration is only relevant for dial-*in*.

What exactly are you trying to do? Please show all relevant log files
of those programs that you are using, and describe in fine detail the
sequence of events.
