SMS capabilities of mgetty

I've been looking at the specifications of UCP & TAP to communicate with
the SMS-gateways of the local providers. The idea is to set up a sort of
SMS-sendspool for our office that spools the alarmmessages of our
systems to the GSMs of our systemadministrator.

Is this incoporated in mgetty/vgetty yet ? Has anybody done some work on
this ? Are there any other people or systems working on this ?
