US Robotics 33.6 FAX Modem with MGETTY

I have a slight problem with mgetty using sendfax on mgetty ... I am
trying to send a two-page fax using a STOCK installation (and
"-DFAX_USRobotics" in the makefile) and *still* I don't get any success.
Can someone please steer me in the right direction?
