Bro. Hall,

I appreciate the input on the NIV but I recognize it for what it is.
ANOTHER imperfect translation.  Zondervan also prints KJV do you make sure
you don't buy those?  (Not being a smart aleck, just asking :-) ).  If you
notice in my posts, I usually switch back and forth, but I do this after I
look at the Greek/Hebrew and try to make some sort of reasoned explanation
of what the Greek/hebrew is saying.  

No translation is perferct nor inspired, but the Word of God is perfect and
inspired! Unfortunately I don't have the ability to read Greek/Hebrew
directly so I must use various resources to try to find out the truth.
