Well you have done well here quoting scripture but what is the point you
make with all these scriptures?!? My point was we are afraid again of
wildfire to the point that the refiner's fire (which burns up dross)
sometimes can't burn effectively. We do believe in confession. And what
is wrong with being rich if you can keep it in persepctive? I have this
neat computer because I CAN. Others simply cannot and are annoyed at
this. The problem is that we do not exercise the faith we HAVE. We want
to see others filled and yet we do not honestly believe. When I pray for
the children I work with in the church then I KNOW they will receive and
they do. I do not show such faith in others since I am in flesh and I
have not been mindful that God is still not a respecter of persons. The
fact is that when some one comes near then my faith is lifted and
together we can overcome the lack of faith for the person we are praying
for.
On the other hand, we have solid principles and doctrines that say that
some of the teachings we see here, in the discussion lately, are flawed
and are also close enough to be believed as truth. We need a new
examination of our place in God and just what he can still do for his
children.
