My proposal for over a year now has not been a different list for
deper discussions, but a separate list -- a CLOSED list -- for
ministers only.  There are matters of church government, personal
counselling to the saints, and personal counselling when a minister
needs help, that are not appropriate for general exposure.

I would not make the archives for a ministers' only list a public
archive.  Such an archive would be available only to members of the
list, and membership would be restricted to licensed ministers of the
UPC.  This would not be an OFFICIAL UPC list, but ministerial
confidence would be a prime consideration.

Such a list would not be for deeper discussion of the subjects on HF,
but for those matters that are inappropriate for a public forum.

I think HF is a great place for both HIGHER and DEEPER discussion!  I
think it is a blessed resource to all who belong to it, and I do not
care to see its nature divided into a deep list and a shallow list.
If this were to occur, I expect most HF members would also join the
deeper list as well, so what would be the point?
