Acutally, I think time began on Day 4 of creation, in Gen. 1:14,

  "And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to
divide the day from the night: and let them be for...seasons, and days and
years:"

Prior to that, time may have been 'unmeasured'.

(This may explain a lot of geological questions)

When will time end?  I think after the White Throne judgement.
