I don't care for regional stereotypes a great deal either, since I've
lived in California, the South, and (now) here in the Midwest.  People
are people in need of salvation no matter where they're from.

In my experience, people in the south are generally much less racist
than people in other regions give them credit for, though, as with
anything else, YMMV.  As I alluded to earlier, my worst experiences
regarding personal encounters with racism have been right here in the
heartland of the good ol' USA.

One item that has been laid on the heart of several members of
Apostolic Life Church is that of racial reconciliation.  I know it's
kind of a fad nowadays, but this is something we've been trying to work
at for a few years now.   Champaign-Urbana is an incredibly divided
city.  Please pray for this area.
