Something to pray about....

Greeting Saints in Jesus name!

Here's something to pray about.... as most of ya'll
know (at least the saints that have been on the list
since Oct 18, '96) my 7.9+ year postition with an
employer ended abruptly. Though I *knew* by the news
I heard about 24 hours prior to the real event that
my job was certainly a *finite* thing. I didn't know
if my employment was going to last 2 hours, two days,
two weeks, etc. But I knew it was *finite* upon hearing
of the news on Oct 17, 96.

Anyway, I've been a *KELLY GIRL* (nobody laugh please)
with a company that has been paying me handsomely since
about the beginning of November. The pay rate was just
about the same as my previous long-time employer but
just didn't have the bennies (employee lingo for BENEFITS)
as the previous employment. Luckily, my family and I
have *rarely* been sick during this time as we've not
had health insurance since the first two weeks of Dec 96.
Praise God! \o/ My youngest daughter was sick briefly
right before the HMO ran out on Dec 14th. Prior to that,
there wasn't any sickness. Since then, no sickness that'd
require a doctor's help as well! Praise God! \o/ Now
it's been about 6 weeks since then and all is still well!
Praise God! \o/

Anyway... besides God's goodness, which is there all of
the time even when we don't see it, I've got a second
interview scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at 2 pm central
time. It's with a company in Champaign, IL. A consultant
position of some sort (to what degree, I'm not sure right
now.) They received my resume when there was lots of snow
in these parts when we (me and my family - Sis. Treva and
daughters Elisabeth and Adrianne) were staying at my parents
house in Champaign so we wouldn't have to travel the roads
under those hazardous road conditions. They called me twice
at home during both times we spent extended stays at my
folk's house. Patience prevailed. The first interview
was about a week ago on Fri, Jan 31. It went real well.
They received my list of professional references which the
inside word says they checked out "in sterling fashion".
Praise God! \o/ Now they want to talk again tomorrow
(as I'm writing this) Friday, February the 6th.

My concerns about this employment are really few. The one
that I'm concerned about is that it might run into a little
travel where I work within about a 75 mile radius of Champaign.
That means that the Nally's need to become a two car family
for the first time in several years. Sometimes I'd work from
Champaign/Urbana, sometimes from Bloomington/Abnormal,
sometimes from Danville, sometimes from Charleston, etc. kinda
all over the place as the clients needs arise. The Nally's
*definitely* aren't made of money and to find a good, reliable,
economical, and inexpensive vehicle is an utmost *need* in the
event that I'm offered and take this postition.

So.... with all that said:

  1) pray that me and my wife know exactly if this is the
     right job or not

  2) if it is the right job, pray that we find the right
second car to add to the Nally fleet

  3) if it isn't the right job, then guidance as to what
to do to provide the sustinance for my family in the
comming weeks as this temporary job comes to a close
by the end of this month....

Thanks all.... God bless and praise the name of Jesus!
