The Textus Receptus IS the majority text. The one most
majorly received. Received text. IOW, the one that was
most common throughout all christendom when Erasmus went to
work to make it.

The so-called "older Manuscripts" (Vaticanus and Sinaiticus)
were RAREST!!! They were LOST for centuries. The TR represents
the texts that were always around. Which would you think God condoned?
The rarest which were lost for generations or the common ones?

We need to look at textual criticism with a viewpoint through faith.
Faith tells me that the common one which was not hidden away from
generations is the God-ordained one. It only makes sense. And that
is the TR.
