>I don't see the Bible discriminating against women Pastors.

Pastor: (websters: a clergy"man" ....
Clergyman: Member of a clergy
Clergy: A body of religious "officials" authorized to conduct services.
Official: officer.
Officer: One charged with the enforcement of law. one who holds an
office
	of trust or "AUTHORITY"
Authority: power to influence thought or behavior.

Whew, all that just to get to the word authority, the meat behind what I
am
about to say.

I am probably repeating something that has already been said, but
here it goes...

I see nothing wrong in a lady "ministering" the word of God to people.
They can minister through many ways, song, prayer, drama, choir, etc.
We are ALL to spread the gospel in one form or another. That is our
duty.
HOWEVER, I personally would not accept a lady "pastor". The reasoning
is simple. God is above man, man is over woman.

If we were to really get to the nitty gritty, and go against all that the
feminazi
movement says, we would find that the husband should be the one who
works to bring in the food to the home, the wife should be in the home so

that the children are brought up right. Just look around, so many woman
are working in the work force today, we see broken homes, latch key
children,
divorce, etc. I do not have the stat handy but I was told that since
woman has
entered the work force, they now are close to being even with men in the
average age for death.

Getting back into the preaching deal before I get stoned to death, When a

woman has authority over men, especially in the church, I feel it is
wrong.

1 Timothy 2:11-13(amplified):
Let a woman learn in quietness, in entire submissiveness.
I(paul talking here) allow no woman to teach or to have authority

over men; she is to remain in quietness and keep silence{in
religious assemblies} For Adam was first formed, then
Eve.

1 Timothy|5:14(KJV) I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear
children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak
reproachfully.

Titus|2:4(KJV) That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love
their husbands, to love their children,
Titus|2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to
their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Discreet: capable of observing prudent silence.

Notice 1 Timothy 3:1-2
"This is a true saying, If a *man* desire the office of bishop,
he desireth
a good thing. A bishop must be blameless, a *husband* of one
wife..."

A deacon position is set up the same way, husband of one wife.

Now to contradict everything I just said, I found this verse:

Philippians|4:3 And I entreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those
women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with
other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

This is the only thing which kind of throws me off my perch a little bit.
 Did these
woman preach or did they just positively influence?
