The Bible never contradicts itself, so obviously, this bit of scripture
must harmonize with the rest. They worked along side the apostles, still
guided the home, still kept in submission to their husbands and pastors.
But that does not mean God kept or keeps today His gifts of the spirit
from women. He shows no favoritism in passing out blessings, but He has
set up a chain of command. If we as women don't come under God's given
authority, I would begin to question motives. I love women teachers and
speakers and singers, and we in the UPC have many annointed to do those
things. I would hope that I personally would walk worthy of the vocation
wherein God has called me and still maintain my place in God's chain of
command.

Comments from an apostlic to the nth degree, and a woman, if you haven't
all ready guessed-
