YUCK!!!, who'd want to wear those ugly things anyway?!?!?!

Your mention of them brings to mind a gaudy eyeglass story. I used to
sell eyeglass in Sam's Club, here in Indianapolis. One evening, a lady
who obviously never left the 50's, came in and pointed to her glasses and
asked me if we "still carried anything like these?".  Well, I about fell
over laughing because she had on white horned-rim frames with little
sparkley stones in them. It was all an 18 year old boy could do to keep
from laughing. I can't tell that story to my young people though, cause
they would all say....." white Horned-rim frames with stones?!?!?! How
Cool!!! those are the bomb!!!"

P.S. I meant no offence to anyone on this list with a pair of the
described frames or a relative with a pair of them.
