Blessing v. Vanity

Bro. Chris:
I top that off with a top of the line silk tie, and a very
fine pair of Georgio Brutini shoes. 5 years ago, I might
of been wearing a K-mart blue light special mismatched,
iron on patches to cover the worn out elbows, suit. A pair
of Kangeroo tennis shoes and a polyester tie from my dads
antique collection. Some might say God has blessed me.
Others might say that I am being vain. So here is the
question....

> When does a blessing become a vanity item?

Me:
The moment you buy these things for there looks or for what
others will think of you for having them. These differ
from make up in that the SOLE purpose of make up is by
definition, vanity.

Two thoughts on prosperity: 1. After you have seen to the
needs of the saints the Bible says to ENJOY what God has
provided. And 2.
There is a Proverb that says "Lord, give me enough that I
don't have to beg and not enough that I lose my dependence
on you!"
(Litteral paraphrase). Words to live by!
