I don't know the specifics of what the Boston library is doing, but
unrestricted access to *any* material (be it via the Internet or
published on old-fashioned paper) is American Library Society policy,
rather than because of challenges from the ACLU.

Churches, schools and businesses are free to restrict whatever they
like concerning Internet access.
