Remember that God answers prayer! Allow me to share a couple of
testimonies from the Masoner Family Prayer Journal.

JULY 4 1995: Sara and I are on Lincoln Avenue in Urbana, watching the
City of Urbana Independence Day parade. There are a couple of real
brats going around shooting everybody with their Super Soaker water
guns. Every once in a while a police officer comes by and tells them
to stop bothering everybody; every once in a while, their mother -- who
was partying with some of her friends at a nearby picnic table -- might
yell at her kids to stop pestering everybody.

Later, we pray that the Lord would do something in that family. We
don't know these kids or their family from Adam.

Nearly a year later, these "brats" are baptized in the name of Jesus!

SPRING 1996: Sara is driving home to Sidney. She sees a Champaign
County Sheriff Deputy's car with lights on, an ambulance and a tow
truck at the sight of a grisly accident: A small truck has t-boned a
large gravel truck which pulled out from a side road. The engine of
the small truck is sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle. The
driver, a woman in her thirties, is killed nearly instantly when her
neck breaks from the whiplash (adjust that headrest folks; that's what
it's there for).

Her thirteen year old son Gary, who received only minor injuries,
witnesses the death of his mother. Sara, who's unaware of the
specifics, prays for the accident victims as she drives by.

One month ago, Gary started coming to Apostolic Life Church. He
repented and was baptized two weeks ago!
