> In Matthew 5:32, Jesus says that if a person divorces
> someone for the reason of fornication (adultery) that
> person is free to marry. The person who is "put away"
> however may not remarry since they do not meet this

With all due respect, Bro. Litteral, adultery and fornication are two
different things. Jesus isn't saying you can remarry if your spouse
commits adultery on you. He said "fornication". There is only one
way this can happen and it's covered in Deut. 22:13,14. If on your
wedding night you find out your new spouse is a fornicator, you
can remarry. After your married though, it's adultery, and it's not
covered in Matt. 5:32.

> > The only other instance that this can take place is if a

The believer it not under bondage to stay with the unbeliever, but
the bible doesn't say the believer can remarry.

> I would like to add that if a person is in a relationship

Right.

> To recap, a person can remain saved after a divorce and
> remarriage if they are the innocent spouse of an adulterer
> and if they are a new convert whose spouse has chosen to
> leave them.

There is no scripture for this. Please study it out, Bro. Litteral,
before you make a terrible mistake or you talk somebody else into making
a terrible mistake.
