Saints?? Courtship??

My wife and I were not allowed to court...we weren't even
allowed to speak to each other until I asked her to marry
me, in the presence of the pastor (then, a woman).

I kinda feel like I had a "grab-bag" marriage, and was stuck
with whatever I wound up with. Thank God that things are
working out...

I know another woman pastor in this town who tells her 
members who to marry, and some of them have ended in
divorce, some are abusive...many other things...
