That's what this altar is for

I believe that an altar is whereever you build it....remember in the OT the
Patriarchs...they build altars everywhere, they didn't have any designated
spot....but whereever they saw the need to build an altar, they did it.
Likewise today we can kneel down everywhere we want to and build ourselves
an altar. Maybe an altar can be described as a spiritual structur upon which
we sacrifice our own personal life. When I sacrifice my life I don't kill
myself, but I put on the altar all the things that are in the way between
God and me...so an altar is not made of stone anymore. hmmm, just a thought,
but the cross was a form of an altar, cause Jesus sacrificed himself there.
So what matters is not the location of that altar, but what we put on it.
Maybe you could tell this guy that it is okay not to come forward, but when
he feels like it to just kneel down where he is at and pray. Who knows....he
might just be afraid of the attention he would be getting or he doesn't like
to be preassured, but if you tell him this and keep an eye on him during
altar call and you see him kneeling whereever he is you could go over there
and help him pray. :) Doris

P.S. I seriously looked at your home-page yesterday. Very nice, and I am
serious. :)
