Greetings Saints in Jesus name...
Ready for a little more humor for your day? Well.... here's one
that ends with a "moral" or in this case it's called a "proverb"...
enjoy!
Bro Tyler
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
There was once a chieftan in Africa that governed a very violent
tribe with unusual habits. After destroying a neighbouring village
they would steal the throne of the ruling chief and carry it back to
their town as a trophy.
After several successful battles their collection of thrones got
rather large. To make room for these trophies, they built a two
story grass hut with a "trophy room" on the second level. They would
give tours of their prizes to visitors. They continued their
vicious behaviour continually returning with thrones for their grass
hut trophy room.
One day as they were placing another throne up stairs, the weight
got so bad that the floor of the hut began to crack and eventually
came crashing down killing all of the people of the tribe in the
room below. It was a horrible sight with few survivors. To help
others in the future they placed a sign in front of the demolished
site which would become a proverb for years to come: "People who
live in grass huts should not stow thrones."
