Before we see great revival take hold in our lives, there needs to be a time
of sincere repentance.

Repentance is more than just the first step of Acts 2:38 Salvation...It
should also be a DAILY part of our walk with God!
Paul said, "I die daily." We must do the same.

Because we are human, fleshly creatures, walking in a land of heathens, and
surrounded by temptation on every side, we have shortcommins, we make
mistakes and yes, at times we even fail God.

This is why we need to be "crucified with Christ" every day. A repentant
spirit keeps a saint in submission to God and His Word...those, acheiving
righteousness and victorious Christian living.

King David sinned wretchedly against God! But, he had genuine repentant
spirit. When he failed God, he came confessing in brokeness and pleeding for
forgiveness. Because of this repentant spirit, David was known as a man
after God's own heart. We need the "spirit of David"...not just in praise,
as the song says, BUT IN REPENTANCE!

To repent means to confess sins with wholehearted remorse and humbly ask
God's pardon. It also means to turn from that sin and abstain from it with
all your heart.

BUT...THERE IS SOMETHING TO REMEMBER WHEN WE REPENT!

**********************A TRIP TO CALVARY!************************

Every time you go to God in repentance, you need to take time to visit the
Cross! You need to invision that crucifixion scene and keep that great
sacrifice ever close to your heart.

For without Blood there is NO REMISSION of sins, and it is only because of
the precious Crimson Flow of Calvary that we can even come to God in
repentance, seeking to obtain mercy from the Lord!

Don't ever ask the forgiveness of Jesus, and the remission of your sins until
you have gone back to that place where He gave His life for your redemption!

*******ONE LAST PRINCIPLE APPLIED TO REPENTANCE*******

When we repent, we can't just ask God's forgivenes, we need to ACCEPT IT!

So often we feel we have repented, but the weight of condemnation still hangs
over our heads...it's a sly trick of the devil, BUT if we truly ACCEPT God's
forgiveness, we will overcome him!

We need to get a hold of the revelation that there is power in the Blood! And
once our sins have been covered, they are no longer remembered...for they are
removed as far as the East is from the West! And "There is therefor no more
condemnation for them who are in Christ Jesus"

Friend, realize that when you have been washed in the Blood of the Lamb, YOU
ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD!

(what a revelation!)

God Bless you friends!
