You:
> Our God is unchanging...and he will not modernise
himself. He is the same God yesterday toady and forever.

Me:
Let me say this as gently as I can. I have heard the
tongues of many and on two occasions God has given me the
interpretation. I do not have the gift of interpretation
but my gift, prophecy, allows me to use the others as God
sees fit. On the one occasion a sister was speaking in
tongues and I could hear what she said and could not make
heads or tails of in in my "ears" and I asked God to show
me what the gift of tongues was about. I began to hear "I
love you, I love you, I love you, Lord God I love you" over
and over again.
This was as clear as day and was as if she was saying it in
"gibberish" and speaking it at the same time in English.
On another occasion I heard a sister speak in tongues
(gibberish) and a message "dropped" into my spirit.

As to God being the same yesterday and forever then the
tongues would ALL be in ancient Hebrew, which cannot be
since the tongues in the early church were "unknown" and
there would be translation ONLY into the languages listed
in Acts. Olde English is not on the list and wasn't spoken
any where for at least a couple of hundred years.

It has been my experience that it is the interpreter that
feels a need to reveal the interpretation in Olde English.
This is not to say that the interpretation is false, it is
certainly not to say that it is true either. Usually I
would think that since this is so closely related to the
feelings they have when touched by the written Word in the
KJV that they deliver this in like manner.

If this statement is true about the interpretations being
in Olde English then God had to change somewhere between
Acts and the time that English was INVENTED. If however,
as is the case in the book of Acts, each that has the
interpretation hears in his own language, God has not
changed and neither has his method of delivery.
