Brother John, I can only speak for my self concerning Easter and tradition.
At my house hold I have never taught my children that there was a real Santa
Claus, we do have a Christmas tree each year and exchange gifts. I might add ,
if my pastor taught against it I would abide by his teaching.
They know that Jesus was not crucified on a Friday, and then rose on the
following Sunday morning. They also know that rabbits do not lay Easter eggs.
My point is, ( At my house ), we celebrate occasions, we do not celebrate
days. We also celebrate my kids' birthdays, which I know that Jehovah's
Witnesses teach that only pagans did this in the Bible. Here again, we
comerate an occasion, not a day.

                                 Your brother in Jesus Christ
