John stated:
>1. The Council of Nicaea in 325 AD (now where have we heard of this
>brilliant meeting--hint they changed the doctrine of the Oneness to
>the doctrine of the
> trinity)

Just curious as to where you learned this information from. From what I
gathered in Church History, the whole purpose of the Council of Nicaea in
325 A.D. was to affirm the Deity of Christ and expose the Arian heresy,
i.e., that Jesus was not Deity.

The council affirmed the Deity of Christ. You may want to consult "History
Of The Christian Church" by Phillip Schaff. He is probably the best work on
church history. Other church historians agree with Schaff. Unfortunately,
you may have received your information from a pamphlet.

The writers of the majority of "Search For Truth" materials have changed
their view on this, since they at one time held to the position that you
state above (the Oneness was changed and Trinity introduced). They could not
substantiate this position and therefore have distanced themselves from that
position since Church History doesn't support this view.

Any references to the above concern would greatly be appreciated.
