You have not addressed the issue that in the instance where
the man
in Corinth who "had his father's wife" which by any
standard is adultery, is refered to by Paul himself as a
FORNICATOR.
IMHO this is clear evidence that the term fornication means
adultery AND ALSO the other immoral sex acts that we have
mentioned before under this heading. It certainly leaps
beyond the very narrow interpretation of Deut. and EXCLUDES
that interpretation.
What is so limiting about the statement in Galatians. Paul
says in effect: here are the works of the flesh and then
list many that overlap and are renaming of the others. The
specifics that narrow a definition are for emphasis.
