You:
> 5. How can you celebrate the most heinous holiday known
to man (so stated since the RCC claims it as -the most holy
day of the year-) and then deny the doctrine of the trinity
(so stated since both beliefs easter, trinity come from the
-same source-)?

Me:
I didn't think that even Catholics worshiped the goddess of
the east.
I thought that "Easter" in MODERN times was the celebration
of the ressurection of Jesus Christ.

Call it Passover if it makes you feel better. As to the
Bible on this tired, tired, TIRED subject heading: Romans
14:5, "One man esteemeth one day above another: another
esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded
in his own mind." and: Romans 14:14, "I know, and am
persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean
of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be
unclean, to him it is unclean." If you are not worshiping
an idol and you are convinced that it is OK to color eggs,
fine. If YOU have ANY DOUBT, to YOU it IS a sin to do the
Easter thing.

I personally like the eggs and candy. In our family
tradition these symbolize... well eggs and candy.

Romans 14:6, "He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto
the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he
doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for
he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord
he eateth not, and giveth God thanks."
