The bible only says that we are not to take the saints before the
court system, because in theory, we should be able to iron out our
differences amongst ourselves, being of the same spirit. However,
in these latter times, I've found in some cases that some "saints"
will only do what's right when forced to do so by warrant/subpoena!
My statement concerning the lawsuit was merely to say that the
insurance company of the other person will GLADLY and quickly
offer monetary appeasement in order to avoid a MUCH larger
claim. The person who was in the accident SHOULD by all means
go to the hospital, because those rear-enders sometimes don't
show pain until MANY days after the accident. The Insurance company
will try to make you sign the release as soon after the accident as
possible so they can AVOID paying out for these pains that come
later on.
I don't believe we should sue people for the sake of suing them, but
when the situation warrants (such as a rear-end accident) don't just
run away and thank God for being alive...there's more to it than that,
and you SHOULD get what's coming to you.
