I was thinking about this. The purpose of interpretation of tongues is
so that the body will be edified.
If the interpreter gives the interpretation in a language/dialect that is
yet difficult for the body to understand, it is still "other tongues" for
all practical purposes...the body still cannot fully comprehend what
the message is...
I read a post previously where someone stated that the "interpretor"
feels the need to use Old English...why? Maybe he/she thinks it will
validate their message. I, however, believe that God will/does send
the interpretation in a language/dialect that the body can understand.
More specifically, if you are in a certain region of the country, your
interpretation of a tongue may be somewhat different than the same
tongue spoken in another part of the country. While the message will
be the same, some words may be different...
What do you all think about that?
