Following that line of thinking then in MODERN times God is worshipped
as three persons.

passage should not be there.

I always enjoy reading the Word. If you sent me the entire Holy Bible in
its entirety it still would not negate the fact that the celebration of
easter is based in pagan traditions. By the way this as a classic
example of how you can safely justify doing something and using the
Bible to support your actions.
