Other Biblical "translations"

I received a free bible in the mail this last week, It was called the
Extreme Faith Bible, obviously targeting the teenage reader. It is in the
Contemporary English Version and, of course, it reads very easy. Does
anyone know anything about this version, it's attributes/downfaults (and
please don't holler at me about this topic). I simply want to know if
anyone has had any experience in reading it and can help me figure out if
it is worth my time or not....And YES, I have already visited the NKJV
page on the net regarding its many "problems".
