Never mind the World Book, take a look at "Trinity" in the old
1890-1899 edition of the Encyclopaedia Britianica. You will probably
have to go to a good university library to find a copy of this, but I
have personally seen it, and the treatise is several pages long. It
traces the history of one-God vs trinity beliefs and clearly
demonstrates that the council of Nicea was the seminal turning point
in the perpetration of this doctrine. It further states that the
apostles always baptized in the name of Jesus. Folks, this was before
the oneness split in 1916, before Azusa Street, and even before Topeka
Kansas! These scholars understood what we believe before 1900!
