This is quite noble of you. However, I certainly would have
made the insurance company pay for the man's negligence.

As I said before, there's always more to an accident than
the dent in the car and the immediate pain. There's ongoing
pain, inconvenience, and a bunch of other stuff.

My wife was in an accident and was hit from the side. She
didn't go to the hospital right away because she wasn't in
pain right away. After a couple of days she found that she
needed chiropractic care.

Her attorney was upset because we were only awarded a total
of just over $3,000, $890 went the chiropractor, the attorney got
just over $1,000 and we had the rest. Do I feel bad? NO WAY!!

My wife had to take trips to the chiropractor every week. We
were inconvenienced for that time. We had to pay other medical
bills out of pocket, which at that time we couldn't afford. So
just getting the car fixed and bills paid isn't quite enough. TRUST
ME...insurance companies aren't going to give you more than
you deserve!!
